For the past 25 years, Founder and CEO; Douglas DeBoer has guided Rebel Design with his philosophy of
pushing the aesthetic envelope and shattering preconceived notions by combining fantasy, drama and
chic design.
Globally, our international presence, depth of experience and our industry knowledge enables us to
identify design trends and set new standards for luxury, comfort and innovation in the hospitality industry.
While the result of each project is unique, our work leans toward clean lines and simple patterns which
are characteristics of modern design.
At the same time, we adhere to the sensibilities of classic design
including use of strong axis, proportion, hierarchy and balance of form within a space.
The marriage of classic and modern provides the opportunity to mix pieces of various periods, resulting
in human scale, a living sculpture where color and form take precedence over the pedigree of any one object.
That being said, we can, and do... work within all design medium and styles.

Rebel Design is a 100% independent hospitality design and consulting firm and unlike many of our competitors,
we are not a reseller nor do we ever participate in incentive programs from any manufacturers or vendors. All
equipment, fixtures, furniture and materials specified for our projects are chosen specifically for quality,
appropriate use and design specification.
